with Deborah Staehle
Bead Dreams is happy to offer instruction with Deborah Staehle. She
has many years of beading experience, has taught hundreds of classes and two of her works are published in
Bead and Button Magazine (including cover) and Creative Beading
(including cover).
Instruction time is available by appointment
Sunday thru Friday. Costs are $20 per hour plus
supplies. A $20 deposit is required. Supplies are not included. A 10% discount will be given on all class
supplies.
Create your own class, or choose from the following:
Beadology
101 - When you don't know where to start, this is the class to choose. You'll learn basic
stringing, pearl knotting and wirework. You'll learn what tools and products to use and how to properly finish
off projects. After the class, you'll be able to reproduce for yourself all that beautiful boutique style
jewelry.
Wirework
Basics - Using your three basic tools, you'll learn the proper way to bend wire into secure links
user in chandelier earrings, rosaries and other fine jewelry. You'll also learn to create some of your own findings
such as headpins.
Off-Loom
Beadweaving - This has many options available. It looks elaborate but if you can handle a needle
and thread, you'll do just fine. See display for samples of the following stitches:
Peyote - (flat, tubular or circular)
Netting - (vertical, horizontal or tubular)
Herringbone - (aka Ndebele, tubular, twisted or
flat)
Right Angle Weave - (single or double needle)
Brick Stitch - (single and 2 or 3 drop)
Spiral Rope
Fringing
Chevron Chain
or any other project you can imagine!
